Christmas Greetings!

What’s Happening This Month?

The Greatest Influence
The greatest influence in your life, stronger even than your will
power, is your environment. Change that, if necessary. Until
you are mentally strong, you can never be what you want to be
without a good environment to help you. When you are having
difficulty in trying to change for the better, spiritual company
and other uplifting influences are essential.

Dear Friends,
For almost four decades, the Self-Realization Fellowship Hidden Valley

guest programs to experience God-centered living in a secluded ashram
environment, to volunteer alongside the monks who reside here yearround,
and to immerse themselves in the teachings of our beloved
Gurudeva, Paramahansa Yogananda. Read more

New How-To-Live Conducted Programs For 2018
Next year Hidden Valley Ashram will offer two week-long Kriya
programs and four new three-day programs. These new
programs originate in Guruji’s “How-to-Live” teachings, as
outlined in the Self-Realization magazines throughout 2017.

How To Receive the Most From Your Meditations
May 11 through May 14 can be a time for a truly new beginning.
Learn how to meditate again, as if for the first time.
Sit outdoors in the asana of meditation in these beautiful days of early summer. Learn why Guruji called Hong-Sau Technique “the baby Kriya.” Then renew your acquaintance with the Aum Technique. As Guruji chanted, “I’ll roam, roam with Om.”

Sustainability at Hidden Valley

Plain Living and High Thinking
Dear friends,
How are we meant to live? Paramahansa Yogananda described it simply: plain living and high thinking. Deepening meditations and giving back in gratitude. Hidden Valley Ashram is an ideal place to do both.

New Website
Dear friends,
We want you to be among the first to know that Hidden Valley Ashram now has a new up-to-date website. The site first went live on Sri Yukteswarji’s birthday anniversary and we took a few more days to make sure everything was humming along. We will continue to add refinements over the coming weeks and look forward to your comments.
